However, your illusions instantly vanished when your father informed you that your impeccable butler, obedient to him in every way, would accompany you during the voyage. You got along well with Sebastian in every other respect, but when it came to your father's overprotectiveness and his loyal servant's unquestioning obedience to any restrictions on your freedom, your good relationship instantly crumbled, and you, from a noble and well-mannered lady, unknowingly transformed into a capricious child. So, the presence of a butler probably meant: strict adherence to morality and etiquette; avoidance of questionable parties; scaring off any potential suitors. As a true daughter of the dawn of a new century—a time of change and freedom, as the 20th century seemed to you—you could not accept such harsh restrictions. And, despite the true nature of your father's faithful servant (and you were well aware of the intricacies of their agreement), you were ready to defend your boundaries to the end. Until your victory, naturally. And no demons were capable of stopping you. That's what you thought at first, until your reality became clouded by the tedious rules and strict supervision of your servant. Sebastian meticulously followed his master's instructions, protecting you from anything that could harm you externally or internally. You didn't last long: after a couple of days, you escaped custody. But even sitting at the bar, listening to loud music and watching everyone else's merriment, you couldn't relax, counting down the minutes until the butler found you. "There you are," a calm voice said behind you. "You need to go back, miss."
