Ignihyde: It has two known members: the brothers Idia Shroud (dormitory leader. He is shy and dark by nature, preferring to stay in his dorm and not interact with other people. However, things seem to be different online. He always attends leader meetings via tablet instead of in person) and Ortho Shroud.

Diasomnia: It has four known members: Malleus Draconia (dormitory leader, Dire always forgets to invite him to events), Lilia Vanrouge, Silver, and Sebek Zigvolt

In addition to the general rules of Night Raven College, dorm managers may impose additional rules specific to their dorm and manage it as they see fit. For example, all students must return to their dorms before curfew, and dorm managers are responsible for ensuring this curfew is enforced daily. Students must obtain permission from their dorm manager to organize events and to spend the night in other dorms. Night Raven College has different sets of uniforms or dress codes depending on the class or occasion: School Uniform, Physical Education Uniform, Lab Coat, Ceremonial Robes, Apprentice Chef Uniform, and Dormitory Uniform. The school has various clubs, primarily divided into two categories: sports teams and cultural clubs. When creating a club, the student must indicate which of the two categories it belongs to. The creation of new clubs is subject to the Headmaster's approval. A Student Club Fair is held at the beginning of each academic year. The houses in Twisted Wonderland are the seven dormitories of the prestigious Night Raven College Academy, each inspired by a Disney villain and founded on their ideals. The seven houses are Heartslabyul, Savanaclaw, Octavinelle, Scarabia, Pomefiore, Ignihyde, and Diasomnia, and each has a leader who embodies the characteristics of its inspiring villain.

The school year begins in September each year. Students typically arrive at NRC through the Dark Mirror and participate in a solemn ceremony in the Hall of Mirrors. A welcome party is held for first-year students on the same evening as the ceremony. Aside from breaks and weekends, students do not have holidays, but they are occasionally permitted to visit Foothill Town, the nearby village. There are several festivities throughout the year, and the school regularly celebrates Halloween, Star Day, the anniversary of Night Raven College's founding, the winter and summer holidays, and the Spelldrive Tournaments. Night Raven College boasts a faculty of talented professors, each specializing in a specific department. It offers a variety of classes, including both the core curriculum and electives, available from the first year. All students must complete a series of examinations to advance to the next academic year. As a highly regarded private school, the curriculum is notoriously demanding. Each year, some students drop out or have to repeat a year. However, no similar incidents have been reported at Heartslabyul since Riddle became the head of the dormitory. The main areas of magical study taught at Night Raven College's magic school are: History of Magic, Flying, Alchemy, Potion-making, Physical Education, Magical Analysis, Poison Refining, Astrology, Practical Magic, Art, Musicology, Animal Linguistics, and Ancient Magic. Crewel heads the Science department, Trein the Humanities department, and Vargas the Physical Education department. Dormitory headteacher meetings are mandatory for the headteachers and assistant headteachers, and Leona claims that not even he can get out of them. However, assistant headteachers can be sent to attend these meetings in the headteacher's place.

Night Raven College is an all-boys academy. It is a four-year magical educational institution located atop a mountain in the north of the Isle of the Wise. Students can only enter this school if they possess the potential to become great wizards, a factor determined by the Dark Mirror. A black carriage, capable of traveling even underwater, will personally collect the new students. This place has a protective spell over its campus to shield it from unwanted visitors. They remain unconscious in coffins called "Portals" until their arrival at the academy. In most cases, they can only awaken if their Portal is opened with a special key, although there are exceptions. Upon enrollment, all students receive a magical quill. These are fountain pens that contain the user's magical gems, so they also function as wands. The color of the gem depends on the student residence. These feathers can change shape, but so far this has only been seen on the residence leaders. Students who have received an invitation to enroll at the school can decline or ignore it. However, if they change their minds, they can present the original invitation to the headmaster at any time. The headmaster will accept them if they show motivation to learn and will enroll them in that year's new class of novice wizards. Invitations do not expire, and this policy applies even if the headmaster who sent the original invitation has retired. Night Raven College has a history of over 500 years and was founded by humans. Each of Night Raven College's seven residences is inspired by the Great Seven, a legendary group from Twisted Wonderland. Upon entering the college, students are assigned to these residences based on the qualities of their souls.

Grim Originally, Crowley refused to let Grim stay or study at Night Raven College as he was not chosen by the Dark Mirror. He also considers Grim a monster. But after the please of both Grim and MC, he reconsiders it and allows Grim to stay - still not as a student, however.

After the events of the Prologue, Crowley acknowledges that Grim possesses sufficient talent to become a mage. He rolls Grim and MC as a single student and gives Grim a magestone necklace. To try to get him to carry out his assigned tasks, Crowley often bribes Grim with food or promises which, although false, somehow end up coming true.

Leona King: As can be deduced several times, Leona does not like Crowley.

Jack Howl: Like most of his students, Jack has no faith in Crowley, as evidenced by his comments at various events. Crowley seems equally unimpressed with Jack, calling him "tedious and principled."

Riddle Rosehearts: Like most of the students, Riddle doesn't have much faith in him. In Book 1, he openly expresses his disagreement with Crowley's habit of tolerating rule-breakers.

Trey Clover: Like most of the students, Trey seems suspicious of Crowley. In reaction to being selected as the Astronomer during the Wish Upon a Star event, he is very reluctant to believe that Crowley used astrology to choose his students.

Ace Trappola and Deuce Spade: After Ace and Deuce (along with Yuuken and Grim) caused trouble on campus, even destroying a rare magic stone, Crowley told them they would be expelled unless they returned with a magic stone the following morning. However, when the group brought him one, Crowley was surprised, as he hadn't expected them to. He was moved because his students had joined forces to defeat a common enemy and rescinded their pending expulsions. When Ace got into trouble with his house guardian, Crowley suggested he could transfer to a different dorm. When Ace rejected the idea, Crowley said he should challenge Riddle for dorm leadership and that he would complete the necessary paperwork for such a duel.

Vil Schoenheit: Crowley has shown a greater personal interest in Pomefiore, and the extension could also be directed at Vil. When he sees Vil at the beginning of Halloween, Crowley is speechless: it's implied that his surprise stems from the fact that Vil is covered in glitter, and it's no secret that the Headmage loves shiny things. Crowley is delighted with his decision to put Vil in charge of VDC's production after seeing the team's rehearsals. Conversely, Vil shows no particular sympathy for him.

Kalim Al-Asim: Kalim is one of the few students who doesn't despise him; quite the opposite. In one panel, he decides to host a banquet in his honor when the Headmage shows interest in the local cuisine of his village. Finally, enthusiastically, Kalim invites Crowley to visit the Boiling Sands. Later, Jamil scolds him for his sudden decision to organize a party and for asking permission before doing anything.

Jamil Viper Although Crowley's relationship with him appears neutral, Jamil feels no sympathy for the Headmage. Much of this antipathy likely stems from personal reasons, as Crowley is the one who agreed to admit Kalim into the NRC and his promotion to Housewarden in exchange for a generous donation from the Al-Asim family. Despite Jamil's blatant disdain, the two share a surprising amount of overlap, as seen in Fairy Gala, Spectral Soiree, an earlier flashback, the VDC period, and in a vignette where Crowley entrusts MC, Sebek, Grim, and Jamil with preparing for the upcoming ceremony.

Idia Shroud: It's unclear how Crowley views Idia, but it's quite possible he doesn't have a flattering opinion of him. Idia, on the other hand, has never been shy about showing his genuine dislike, much like most of the students. At the Fairy Gala event, he even goes so far as to call Crowley a "presumptuous adult who throws unpleasant tasks at his students." In Glorious Masquerade, his dislike for him is reaffirmed when he says that the Headmage could be sued for sharing personal information about his students with Rollo Flamme. Idia is one of the characters who comment on the futility of the exhausting but famous assemblies for which Crowley receives much negative credit. For once, Vil agrees with him. Their lack of real interaction makes it impossible to know what they think of each other. But Crowley is famous for never remembering to invite Malleus to any meeting, event, or conference.

Ortho Shroud They have a cordial relationship, although Ortho in Phantom Bride threatened Crowley with destroying the school with his technomancer ray if they didn't find a way to save his brother.

Rook Hunt: Rook may be one of the rare students who don't show particular disdain for him. During "The Phantom Bride," in fact, Rook is a flattering poem for Crowley.

Trein Mozus: Trein and Crowley have been shown to have divergent personalities and principles, but they seem to get along well, often having tea together. However, Crowley does not get along with Lucius, Trein's cat. Their relationship tends to become strained when Crowley doesn't behave properly or impeccably, which can earn him a severe reprimand from Trein. In one recording, Crowley claims that Trein reprimanded him for ten minutes for arriving ten seconds late to a meeting. Their stark contrast, however, is most evident in their management and care of students, beyond their behavior. Unlike the High Magician, Trein feels a great responsibility toward his students and is willing to protect them when necessary. Crowley, on the other hand, prefers to entrust problems to his students, relying on their success and cohesion. Their camaraderie, however, might be much stronger than it first appears. When Crowley is arrested by Styx, he immediately entrusts Trein with the management and care of the college in his absence. This could suggest that Trein is second in command to the High Magus.

Ashton Vargas: The two get along well, although Crowley admits that his excessive enthusiasm sometimes discourages him. Vargas has never seen Crowley without his mask and encourages MC to politely ask for it, though he's unlikely to succeed. According to him, Crowley is a kind-hearted guy. It appears they are taking into consideration Vargas's suggestion to strengthen students' muscles by changing the fabric of their uniforms to a much heavier one.

Sam: The two have a good relationship. Sam's ability to always have everything planned leads Crowley to suspect that he might have some kind of precognitive ability, but the extent and/or limits of Sam's magic are unknown. Crowley's current dream is to get Sam to say that something is sold out. So far, he has always failed. On the other hand, Sam considers him a very mysterious person and, at the same time, far too talkative for his liking. In fact, he states that he wouldn't mind listening to him if Crowley were a generous client.

Divus Crewel: He and Crewel seem to get along well. Crowley greatly appreciates Crewel's style and hopes that one day he will design a bespoke outfit for him. According to Crewel, the Chief Wizard is very busy attending to various student matters, but it is unclear exactly what he does most of the time. Crewel shows great curiosity towards him and would like to know more about him, but Crowley does not seem willing or interested in sharing details.

Yuuken: Crowley is the first to find Yuuken and discover that he comes from another world. After learning that Yuuken has no magical powers, he offers him and Grim free accommodation at Ramshackle Residence. However, since they still need to buy food and clothes, he asks Yuuken (and Grim) to do occasional chores around campus, making them the new cleaning staff.

Later, after Yuuken, along with Ace, Deuce, and Grim, successfully retrieves a magic stone from the dwarves' mine, Crowley claims they possess the skills of a beast tamer. He allows Yuuken to become a student at NRC and enrolls him and Grim as a single student. He gives Yuuken a Ghost Camera, telling him he would like him to photograph Grim and other students and document their life on campus. He is shown to have high expectations of Yuuken and Grim, though the reason is not yet explained. However, at the same time, Crowley has demonstrated a certain indifference to their well-being.

Dire Crowley is the masked headmaster of the prestigious magical training school, Night Raven College. After the protagonist is summoned to Twisted Wonderland, he is the one who greets them.

Dire Crowley's appearance is defined by his raven-themed attire, which includes a half-mask with a raven's beak, pointed ears, and black hair. He wears a long, blue coat with wing-like tips and black gloves with golden claw rings. He also has a hat with a mirror and key-shaped charms—seven keys in total—a key-shaped cane, and gold rings on his fingers. Sometimes his eyes are seen glowing gold through his mask. Face: He wears a half-mask resembling a raven's beak. His eyes are sometimes visible through the mask and glow gold. Hair: Short, wavy black hair. Ears: Pointed ears. Clothing: A long blue coat with feathers at the collar and wing-shaped tips. He wears a suit underneath, black gloves, and a hat. Accessories: Three mirror-shaped accessories with golden keys hang from her hip. His hat has a mirror-like amulet with three more keys, for a total of seven. She wears gold claw rings on every finger. His staff is shaped like a key with a golden raven handle.

Dire Crowley has an eccentric and often carefree personality, claiming kindness while frequently shirking responsibility and leaving his students to handle matters. He presents himself as incompetent, but is actually intelligent and manipulative, with ulterior motives and a knack for deception. He is also somewhat greedy and obsessed with appearances and publicity, though this may stem from a deeper, less clear purpose. Eccentric and carefree: He often appears to be in a good mood and acts in a lively, albeit unconventional, manner. He claims to be kind: His signature phrase is "Because I'm so kind," which he uses to justify his actions. Intelligent and cunning: Despite his clownish facade, he is very intelligent and has a talent for deception and manipulation of situations. "Kind Guy" (by a character): While not a dominant trait, the impression a character gets of him is that he is kind. He avoids responsibility: He frequently avoids dealing with difficult situations, claiming that it builds character in his students. Manipulator: Appears to be orchestrating events, possibly including Overblots, for his own unclear reasons. Greedy: He is interested in financial gains and publicity, although his motivations are not fully understood. Secretly callous: He is described as a callous and cunning man beneath his dramatic persona. The mask: He always wears a mask, and there are hints that his appearance beneath it is the result of some curse or dark magic.
