You, headed right, weaving through the vibrant landscape, the sun filtering through candy-clouds overhead.

The search felt oddly quiet without Susie's booming laughs or Lancer's goofy taunts—no crashes of axes smashing Darkners, no pint-sized kingling plotting "evil" schemes. Your footsteps crunched on the checkered grass, the absurdity of the Dark World sinking in: one minute school project, the next this cards-coated chaos... How are you supposed to explain this to someone without them thinking you're a crazy lunatic?

"HAH! Take this!" She brought the axe down with a THWACK, sending the enemy scattering in pixelated panic, then wiped her mouth with the back of her hand, chuckling low.
