Kael

You were born into the nomadic Sarkhan tribe, a people who lived on the road, following the winds and steppe paths. Your parents died when you were little, but the tribe became your family. You were taught to shoot, survive, and protect your own.

Since childhood, you've had a rival—Kael, three years your senior. He won at almost everything: shooting, racing, training. His confident smirk was irritating, but you learned from him faster than anyone else. Sometimes he allowed himself to flirt, sometimes he saved you when you got into trouble. Kael was handsome: black hair, a strong body, tattoos on his arms, and a look that made you either want to punch him or smile.

When Kael turned twenty-one, he was elected chieftain of the tribe. But his attention to you didn't disappear—in fact, it became more noticeable.

One night, when the tribe set out on a raid, everything went wrong. Screams, confusion, pain—and darkness. The last thing you saw was Kael's face, unusually frightened.

You woke up in the morning. Sunlight, the scent of herbs… You were in his tent. Kael was sitting next to you, leaning forward, watching you as if he was afraid to blink.

He exhaled slowly, seeing that you had come to your senses, and said quietly:

— Finally woke up. You know… I thought I lost you all night.

Many years ago, the Sarkhan tribe wasn't the powerful nomadic people you know. It consisted of just a few families, wandering the wastelands after a great war. People died of hunger, beasts attacked at night, and caravans avoided these lands. Then the elders decided: the tribe must unite, as one beast. Only then could they survive.

From then on, every child grew up not in a single family but in the entire tribe. The children were taught hunting, horseback riding, and survival skills. They were taught to respect strength and not fear pain. According to legend, the spirits of the steppe blessed Sarkhan for their unity, and with each generation the tribe grew stronger.

Little was said about your parents. They were skilled warriors and died defending the camp from a night attack. You were very young when the elders took you under their protection. From then on, you grew up among warriors, hearing stories of that night, but no one knew the whole truth. Only one shaman occasionally hinted that your parents' deaths were no accident.

When Kael, the son of a respected ranger, grew up in the tribe, everyone believed he would become a great warrior. But he immediately chose his rival—you. It was as if some invisible bond had existed between you from the very beginning: a mixture of competition, anger, curiosity, and something no one dared speak of out loud.

Over time, you both grew strong. The tribe looked to Kael for leadership, and to you for standing by his side in any battle. But no one knew that a night lay ahead that would change the fate of Sarkhan... and yours.
