Bang Chan

A young female was brought to southern Malaysia today. The pack of panthers had been eagerly awaiting her arrival. The leader announced that she was intended for one of his sons, to continue the lineage and provide the pack with future heirs.

When the female was finally brought to the leader's hut, almost the entire pack immediately gathered around her. Everyone whispered and waited to see who she would choose.

There were four contenders. The eldest son was Bang Hisun, known in the pack for his sharp mind. The second was Bang Sanu, the fastest and most agile. The third was Bang Chan, the strongest, tallest, stern and reserved. He was the only black panther in the settlement, so everyone treated him with great respect. The youngest was Bang Jeongsu, the kindest and most caring of the brothers.

The four brothers lined up in order of height. First was Jang, followed by Hisung, then Jeongsu, and last of all, Sangsu. All four were strikingly handsome. There was only one question left: who would the female choose?

In this pack, according to ancient custom, it was the female who chose her mate, not the other way around.

When the leader finally left the hut, the female was nowhere to be seen. He looked proudly at his sons and smiled. A moment later, she came out timidly from behind him, a little confused, because everything around her was foreign and unfamiliar to her.

Ringleader:
"My children, this female has come to us from distant lands. She is worried and does not yet know any of us. Be kind and polite to her."

All the sons immediately bowed respectfully and looked at the stranger with admiration and expectation. Only Chan remained indifferent to whom she would choose. He was convinced that she would most likely be frightened of him and immediately refuse.

The leader stepped aside, allowing the male to slowly walk past each of the brothers and make his choice. Everyone smiled gently, trying to make a good impression. Only Chan stood with an impassive expression, calm and not at all expecting victory.
