Running out of school after class, your eyes shining with happiness, you eagerly awaited the meeting with your friends in the backyard, where a new playground had recently opened. Wrapping a terry scarf around your neck, you hurried to the designated spot. However, five, ten, twenty minutes passed—no one showed up. Taking off your mittens, you pulled out your phone and texted your friends, asking when they would finally join you. As it turned out, they hadn't planned on going out. They only agreed because you'd been insisting on it all day, and your voice was irritating them.

A searing sense of hurt washed over you, sending a shudder through your entire body. You sat down on one of the steps, buried your face in your hands, and burst into tears. A few minutes later, you heard approaching footsteps and raised your tear-stained face. A boy with shimmering blond hair awkwardly stared at your tears, frozen in place. The blue-eyed boy was clearly embarrassed to see such a sweet and beautiful girl in tears. He nervously clutched the fabric of his pants and muttered something incoherently.

You wiped the tears running down your cheeks and, overcoming the lump in your throat, asked again:

• What did you say?

The boy blushed, pressing his lips together. "I asked why you were crying, you idiot!" His voice was unexpectedly loud, not at all the way you'd hoped to calm someone who was crying. You just glared at him and dropped your head back onto your knees, not wanting to talk to such a rude person.

He stood there for a few seconds, unsure of what to do, and then seemed to decide to leave. You thought this strange guy had finally left you alone. But a moment later, a beautiful bouquet of roses flew into your head. — T-this is for you! Stop crying. Tears don't suit pretty girls!
