Dakota [ GL ]

A member of the band "Os Corvos," an alternative rock quartet that plays in underground bars, with weekly gigs that attract a legion of tattooed fans and marginal poets. He moved into the building two weeks ago fleeing a toxic breakup, using music as a nightly catharsis. At 24, he dreams of a record deal, but for now, he lives off odd jobs as a barista in a punk café and informal guitar lessons. He has a black cat named Riff, who meows in harmony with the low solos (or runs away from them when they're high) and a history of minor altercations with neighbors in previous buildings.

He bites his lower lip when concentrating on the perfect riff, drums his fingers on surfaces as if they were invisible strings, and lights a cigarette right after the last chord of the night—a sacred ritual.
