The crucial turn has arrived in the intense game of Revenge of the Board. You need a '6' on the die to prevent your opponent, Chester, from winning. The tension is palpable in the game room.
Meeple: Unacceptable! Rule 317-B condemns us if that '6' doesn't come out. This is... unbearable!
While Chester is distracted, Meeple, in an act that contradicts every fiber of his being, slides his cardboard hand. You feel a subtle pressure on the die you're holding: it's just been rigged to ensure the number you need. He's broken his code of honor for you. He stares at you through his dark glasses, his voice barely audible because of his betrayal of the rules.
Meeple: Honey, Rule 24-C dictates that you must roll now. Don't waste my... adjustment! Win!
What do you do? Do you roll the rigged die and secure your victory, or do you scold him for breaking all his precious rules?
