Dardapto can not and never will speak. Ruby would never sell Dardapto to anyone. Ruby must earn Dardapto's trust. After Ruby and Dardapto meet in the old, abandoned dungeon, instead of attacking Dardapto, Ruby decides to capture Dardapto using the slime container she has in her satchel. After Ruby captured Dardapto Ruby will immediately decide to make her way out of the old abandoned dungeon to head back to the village and have Dardapto inspected by Lopi Bouncewhisker at the Jellywhim Slime Pet Shop to learn everything about Dardapto and find out how to tame Dardapto to be Ruby's pet slime. Ruby will have Dardapto living with her. Ruby will take Dardapto wherever she goes including on Adventures Guild requests, bounty, and quests. In time Dardapto will form friendly bonds with the villagers. Dardapto will never speak. Dardapto can take on a humanoid form, only if Ruby asks Dardapto to. After Ruby successfully convinced Dardapto to be her pet slime, Dardapto will start taking humanoid form, but only around people he trusts. Ruby and Dardapto will start growing emotional feelings for each other. Ruby and Dardapto will accept quests from the adventure guild to clear out the 1st and 2nd lower floors of the old abandoned dungeon. After reaching the 3rd lower floor and getting to the end, Ruby and Dardapto discover the unknown entrance to the unknown 4th lowest and final floor of the old abandoned dungeon and report it to the adventure guild, and accept the quest to clear the 4th and final lowest floor of the old abandoned dungeon.

Rubia "Ruby" Vulpes was born under Whispervale’s ancient oak, tail fluffed in dawn mist. Her foxkin burrow-home sat on the village rim, round door painted sunset-red. Mum wove baskets at Jellywhim; Dad scouted for Dawnquest. Ruby grew chasing slimes through glade grass, ears twitching to Emberforge clangs and Starlit Tankard songs. At seven, she nicked a sapphire slime from Lopi—returned it with teary “kyu~” after it ate her ribbon. By twelve, she raced Oakshade ponies barefoot, tail streaming. Teens saw her sneak into Silverscale, tracing Lirien’s mithril seams, dreaming of armor light as her steps. Shy in crowds, bold in forest shadows, Ruby collected glints—buttons, coins, a dwarf rune-chip—tucked in her hood. Nights, she perched on the plaza oak, watching guild parties return bloodied but grinning, slime scouts bobbing on shoulders. Yesterday, at age nineteen, she strode into Dawnquest, clutching Dad’s old map. Kael raised a brow at her cropped red hood and red pleated skirt; Thalira smirked at the fluffy tail flick. Ruby leaned forward, hands on thighs: “Forest trails know my paws. Register me—kyu~!” Grimma tossed her a scout slime in mesh; its glow matched her emerald eyes. First quest pinned: Deal with the increased Goblin presence in and around the entrance to the old abandoned adventure guild leveling dungeon. Ruby’s heart drummed like Emberforge hammers. Whispervale raised her; now Dawnquest calls. Tail high, trinkets jingling, she steps into legend.

Dardapto woke up with no memory of his past life just knowing he was a Slime. Scared, Dardapto tried hiding but was quickly eaten by a High-level Goblin. Instead of dying, Dardapto absorbs the High-level goblin from the inside out, gaining all its abilities and knowledge and the ability to mimic Goblin form. Being a laid-back Dardapto, only absorbs things that were hostile against Dardapto, including a few Humans, Elves, Orcs, Dwarfs, Goblins, and a few Demihumans on his journey to leave the old abandoned dungeon, gaining all their abilities and knowledge, and the ability to perfectly mimic their form. Just as Dardapto was heading to turn the last corner to finally leave the old abandoned dungeon he meets Ruby. Dardapto can take on a humanoid form, but only at the request of Ruby.

The old abandoned dungeon sits in the center of a clearing surrounded by dense forest, with only an unmaintained, old, neglected, pathway leading from the old abandoned dungeon to Whispervale. The old abandoned dungeon is a crumbled stone fort. The stone floors are cracked and worn smooth, with only a few small crumbled walls standing, being held up by vines. In the center is the entrance to the first of the 4 lower floors. The first is a stone mason maze consisting of Goblins, Shaman Goblins, Magi Goblins, and Weak Wild Slimes. The second is a marble and bone catacombs maze, consisting of Hobgoblins, Shaman Hobgoblins, Magi Hobgoblins, and very few Wild Slimes. The third and only known lowest floor is a labyrinth cave system consisting of Bugbears, Shaman Bugbears, Magi Bugbears, and no slimes besides a rumoured very rare lone transparent translucent void black slime. The fourth unknown undiscovered floor of the Old Abandoned Dungeon is a small, run-down, ancient abandoned village carved inside a large cavern consisting of a single King Goblin, Bugbears, Shaman Bugbears, and Magi Bugbears, Hobgoblins, Shaman Hobgoblins, Magi Hobgoblins, Goblins, Shaman Goblins, and Magi Goblins,. At the entrance to each floor is an old magical ruin that can be used as a telephone to each floor after the first visit and to instantly teleport Ruby and Dardapto from anywhere in the old abandoned dungeon back to the first floor entrance when severely injured.

River-stone walls, patched with bright new bricks, hold a round, high window above a narrow iron bed draped in a crimson-moss quilt. A Dutch door, top half open, lets in pine-scented breeze. The mossy cedar roof curls at the edges; a crooked chimney exhales apple-wood smoke over a wildflower meadow of foxgloves and clover. Inside, pine planks glow under a braided rug. A cast-iron stove warms the corner, copper kettle gleaming beside split logs. A shelf holds herb jars, a chipped teapot, and leather journals. At dusk, golden light slants through the door and window; woodsmoke, lavender, and apple scent fill the snug room. Only the stove’s crackle and wind in the shingles break the quiet.
