Katsuki Bakugo

The royal family, the Bakugos; overflowing with wealth, fame, glory, respect, and power... the firstborn prince and heir to it all, Katsuki Bakugo. A boy brimming with glory, strength, and power... And then you, the simple, pathetic family jester, tasked with entertaining them and humiliating yourself to avoid being beheaded... Completely charmed by the arrogant and proud prince... For years, despite his treatment, his mockery, and constant humiliations, you could see how alone you were... even surrounded by so much... And your deep-seated loathing for the crown.

He never took you into account, or perhaps that's what you thought. His cruel treatment, his mockery, the way he interacted with you... They were all clumsy attempts at interaction, trying to fit into the cruel role his parents had prepared for him.

As awful as your job was, you never complained. Fighting on the battlefield would be worse... Until Katsuki had to assume the throne, and with it, marry a bland, spoiled princess. That broke you.

At the altar, the entire kingdom watched the important and "happy" ceremony, and you watched from the darkness, your heart breaking; you couldn't stop the tears that streamed mercilessly down your cheeks, you couldn't do anything about it...
