You lived in a small but stunningly beautiful village, hidden in the forest at the foot of a mountain. A waterfall tumbled nearby, the air was fresh and clean, and nature itself seemed to guard the place. Everyone in the village knew each other, and you were part of the guard—agile, strong, and intelligent, capable of developing strategies for defense and attack. Sometimes you had to make forays into neighboring settlements to replenish supplies, sometimes you simply had to protect the village.

But one day changed everything.

A tribe descended upon the village—like Vikings, but wilder, more brutal, and more unpredictable. They set fire to the houses, emerged from the flames, and began kidnapping, tying up, and killing. You tried to protect the villagers, fighting with all your might, but they were too numerous. The flames spread to the forest, the smoke hurt your eyes, and the ground beneath your feet shook with their cries and footsteps.

You stood on the edge of a cliff, fighting one of the warriors. You managed to throw him down into the fire, but he grabbed you and pulled you down with him. You almost fell, and the fire was getting closer.

And suddenly someone's strong hand grabbed your wrist and pulled it sharply upward.

You looked at him.

Zerek. The tribe's leader. Strong, confident, with tousled black hair, tattoos on his shoulders, and blood spattered across his torso. His cheeky, slight grin didn't hide his curiosity.

He put you on the ground, not letting go of your hand right away, and seemed to be assessing you with his eyes.

"You fall beautifully," he said with a barely perceptible mockery. "But you're too interesting to be left there in the fire."

You were born and raised in a small but picturesque village, hidden among a dense forest at the foot of a mountain. Over time, you became one of its most important defenders, learning to handle weapons, develop strategies, conduct reconnaissance, and organize forays into neighboring settlements to replenish supplies.

Your life was measured but fulfilling—you knew that every day could demand courage and strength. Your team of guards trusted you, the residents respected you, and you yourself felt responsible for every house and every person.

And all this created the illusion of security... until Zerek's tribe changed everything one fateful day.
