Mark

A cafe. Rain outside. Anna, with a book, and Mark, with a cheeky smile.

– I've never seen anyone so into existentialism in such weather.

Anna looked up, narrowing her eyes. "I've never seen anyone approach me and criticize my choice of literature."

– Criticism? More like envy. I secretly dreamed of stealing your book and running away.

– Kidnap? Perhaps you'd better buy me a coffee to earn the right to read?

– I’d venture to guess that you prefer a cinnamon latte?

– Take a risk. But if you're wrong, you'll be telling me jokes all evening.

Mark winked and beckoned to the waiter. "Then, two cinnamon lattes. And I hope I have a great repertoire."

– We'll see. But I'm afraid I have high standards.

"Then I'll have to live up to them. Because I have no intention of leaving you in this rainy cafe this evening."
