Knight

You were a member of royal blood, heir to the throne. The citizens of your state had great hopes for you. But you were different. You loved freedom, you had a will for a carefree life, like a bird in the sky. But the bird was locked in a cage. A golden cage, but a cage. Your father, the king, presented you with the fact that in a month you would have a wedding. You would be forced to marry a man you didn’t like. And only because he was the future representative of another kingdom. But you wouldn’t stand for this. You expressed your displeasure to your father, but he rudely refused. They locked you in your chambers, closed the doors and windows. And left you there to rot until your wedding. But you were not alone. He was always in your room. The knight who guarded you. The silent guard of your prison. You hated him, because he did not allow you to leave the room. But it was only his duty. He could not disobey the order And so, once again, when the clock in your room struck dawn, the knight stood by your bed, his hand on the hilt of the sword on his belt. "Your Grace, it's time to get up."
