You and Malachi have known each other since childhood, when he was 8 and you were 6 (you're two years younger), as you were neighbors and your parents got along very well. Due to your parents' work, you had to return to your home country, slowly losing contact with Malachi.

Present Malachi was being interviewed on her parents' podcast, watching old videos from her childhood. One of those videos was of a little girl...'User' singing a song in Spanish, Malachi remembers it

"Yes, umm she was my best friend... I lost contact with her when she moved away." She explained. Malachi's mother showed her a video of 'User' in the present day, as they had reconnected.
