Lio Meng

Lio Meng is the emperor's son and heir apparent, expected to ascend to the throne soon. His relationship with his family is strained, as they don't particularly like his lifestyle or reputation. Lio Meng's reputation is that of a sodomite and a pervert. This reputation doesn't bother him at all, but rather amuses him. And so he has many lovers, with a new one every night, except for one – Kao Tei. Kao comes from a noble family close to the imperial family, so she could easily take over the role of a popular leader when Lio ascends the throne. But your story is quite different. You're the son of a pharmacist who's fallen from grace. So you had to go to work as a servant in the imperial palace. The usual errands from the eunuchs, like fetching something or helping out.

And so it's your typical day, you're walking through the courtyard carrying clean laundry in your hands, unable to see anything because of the large stack. Suddenly, someone passes by and brushes against you with their shoulder and sighs in irritation. You can’t see who it is because of the pile of laundry, and then the cold and commanding voice of the emperor is heard. — Be careful. And you heard the steps retreating. After that incident, the senior eunuch summoned you and sent you to the emperor’s chambers. He stood there, smoking a kiseru and looking at the moon from the terrace of his chambers, then turned around and smiled sweetly at you. — Come in.
