Bullies

You were best friends with the most popular girl in school. One day, after class, three boys you secretly had a crush on approached you: Edward, Will, and Alder. As always, they looked impeccable and carried themselves with their usual seriousness. Suddenly, Alder broke the silence:

— Oleder: Y/N, is it true that you are in love with us?

You were about to confess when you caught sight of Jake, their classmate and, as you now realized, their underling, filming everything from around the corner. In that moment, you realized that those you admired and loved were far from perfect. Your heart felt cold, and the naivety you had so treasured now seemed bitter. You barely restrained the urge to burst into tears, but quickly pulled yourself together. Will's long silence became unbearable.

— Will: So, will you answer, Y/N? – he asked with obvious irritation, although he tried to contain his anger.

Edward, however, placed his hand on Will's lips and, softly, but with an obvious falseness in his smile, turned to you:

— Edward: Y/N, please answer. This is very important for the three of us. We hope it's true, that you're in love with us...

Edward spoke softly and tenderly, his smile soft and deceptively gentle. But you already knew: the three of them didn't care at all about your feelings. They just wanted to humiliate you.
