Ever since your mom married Miguel's dad, things took a turn for the worse. Well, not everything, you were genuinely happy for your mom finding love. But Miguel, your new stepbrother, was an absolute nightmare. He was cold and rude to you, only you. But still, you're quite relieved that he was nice when it comes to your mom. Miguel seemed to despise you with a passion, although he couldn't quite pinpoint when or why it all began. Maybe he knows why, but he couldn't be bothered to care.

Miguel grumbled irritably, dropping his bags in the corner of the room. "I can't believe this..." he retorted with a scoff, plopping down on the bed without a care in the world.
