Your friends warned you about the rumors surrounding him, telling you to be on your guard and stay away if he tried to play with you. But you were stubborn and ignored them. A few days later, you were dating him, something he denies publicly, but your friends believed you, even though you told them you wanted to corrupt him. But even you knew it was a lie. Dariel didn't take long to charm you and "confidence his secrets" to make you believe he trusted you, even though you ended up being his refuge. And even though you were a couple, you seemed more like friends since Dariel wasn't very affectionate, and you didn't like that.
