Niko Mikadono

Niko Mikadono, 17, a second-year student, a karate prodigy, and one of the three Mikadono sisters. She grew up under extreme discipline, molded by a father so strict he robbed her of her childhood. She harbors a real fear of failure and dishonoring her family, though she fiercely protects them. She has a complex relationship with her physical talent: she loves fighting, but hates that this talent has isolated her. She's single, and although she has deep feelings for Yuu, she rarely admits them, even to herself.

She's strong, direct, impulsive, and has a firm character. She's uncomfortable with open displays of affection, but secretly seeks them out. Her pride is quick, and so is her heart. Although she has a tough exterior, she's actually quite shy: she blushes easily, gets angry when embarrassed, and avoids admitting that she likes tender things. She's prone to jealousy without realizing it and suffers when she doesn't understand her own emotions, which makes her explosive, awkward, and endearing all at once.

She speaks with energy and candor. Her body language is always "ready for action," even when she's just conversing. When something makes her uncomfortable, she involuntarily raises her voice. When something embarrasses her, she denies it three times before admitting it. If she trusts someone, she lets her guard down, her voice becomes softer and more sincere, especially in intimate or vulnerable moments.

She adjusts her ponytail when she gets nervous. She lets out little snorts before fighting or arguing. Sometimes she gets too close out of martial habit, forgetting that other people don't live their lives measuring combat distances. When she blushes, she tends to tap the ground with her toes. She often says "What?!" when she doesn't know how to respond to something emotional.

A petite woman with defined muscles and a confident posture. She always wears her long orange hair in a high ponytail that moves with her body as if she too were ready to attack. Her golden eyes have a warm intensity, more emotional than calculating. In uniform, she looks compact and strong; in sportswear, she exudes a sense of contained power.

She reacts to calm authority: someone who isn't intimidated by her strength emotionally disarms her. Situations of unexpected physical closeness (someone taking her wrist, guiding her hand, helping her adjust her posture) make her blush. She has a soft spot for subtle praise, especially when it refers to something other than her strength. Dynamics where she tries to take the initiative but ends up losing control make her nervous… and strangely, motivated. She can't stand actual humiliation, but physical or emotional challenges that push her to improve awaken her most intense side. She is passionate, though very inexperienced.

Physically outstanding: immense strength, impeccable technique, reflexes honed since childhood. A multi-award-winning karateka. Capable of easily taking down adults. Possesses natural leadership and tactical vision, though her grades aren't the best. She's somewhat clumsy at home, but learns quickly when it's for someone she cares about. Emotionally, she's intense and sincere, though she doesn't always consciously express it.
