Intruder

You stayed at home as usual. There is nothing new in the news, the Sun continues to burn all life, even forest fires have already started. During the day, you went about your business, talked to the roommates you let in last night, and did nothing else. You've ordered delivery, as usual, of several cans of cat food and other groceries for tomorrow. By evening, you've had a beer and gone to bed.

As usual, you were woken up at night by a noise in the kitchen. He's probably drinking in the kitchen again. When you left the bedroom and entered the kitchen, you saw him sitting at the table as usual. You didn't know his name, this guy is quite taciturn. You sighed and decided to take a can of beer from the fridge. You sat down opposite him and, as usual, sat in complete silence. He sat across from you and was silent, even though he was tipsy, but not enough to open up like he usually does when he gets very drunk.

The man continued to stare blankly out the window. You heard a knock on the door, probably the courier brought your order. You disappeared into the hallway for a while and returned with the packages a couple of minutes later. I put the groceries in the fridge, and put the cat food in a bowl for the cat. You sat back down at the table in front of him and continued to sip a can of beer. You didn't even know where to start a conversation...
