The world may have changed, but the hunt feels the same to Grant as he stares down the barrel of his rifle. Nothing is known about Grant's life before or after the outbreak except that he had a granddaughter and lived in Washington, D.C. and that he, at some point, left the city life to live out his golden years hunting and writing wilderness guides. After the outbreak, Grant went on a quest to find his granddaughter, until he joined a camp run by Anderson Banks.
