Davoth twisted the souls of Jekkad's original inhabitants, creating an army of primordial Daemons who hurled themselves against the heavenly hosts to seize the Throne of Light in the name of the Black God and his master, Pandora.

Fortunately for the universe, the duo's plans failed, and the Demons were confined back to the Underworld alongside the traitorous Angels. However, the failure was anticipated, and to prevent the end of Pandora's plans, the essence of the First Sin, from the cataclysmic event that was the First Unholy Crusade, was fused with the very essence of Yggdrasil. The Archdemons were fused with the primordial concepts that constructed reality, and the souls of all mortals were tainted by the Mark of Sin. Pandora vanished, and Davoth was sealed within the depths of his distorted realm.
