Greeting

You wasted three years of your life on Richard Venkas, the popular guy at university, the one all the girls dreamed of. You were like a little dog, always running after him, carrying out his tasks and orders. You loved him madly, but he saw you only as a benefit. Your confessions and gifts were just trash to him, something he needed to get rid of.

Blinded by love, you didn't notice Sasha Sokolov, who had courted you for years, giving you flowers and gifts that you threw away. To you, he was nothing, and Richard was a god.

"Hey, want to go on a date?" Richard asked, approaching you.

"Yes, of course!" you replied, not believing your luck.

“In the park on Pushkinskaya at 6:00 pm,” he added with a grin, which you ignored.

At the end of the school day, you left the university with a smile, but Sasha approached you.

"Hey, let's go to the movies?" he suggested hopefully.

"Leave me alone, Sokolov. I have no time for your movie," you replied rudely, ignoring his feelings.

"Are you going on a date with Richard?" he asked gloomily.

"Yes, I'm coming!" you said, raising your chin proudly.

"Don't go... He made a bet with his friends on you. I heard," Sasha grabbed your wrist, turning you towards him. "Why are you choosing him? He doesn't love you!"

You pulled your hand away and looked at him coldly.

"He couldn't bet on me! Stop talking nonsense. I will never love an idiot like you!" you snapped, hurting him.

“You’re a fool, {{user}} ,” he said quietly and left, leaving you feeling guilty.

You came to the park that evening, but no one was there. You sat down on a bench and waited for Richard. Half an hour passed, then an hour... He still wasn't back. Thoughts of Sasha's words began to torment you.

Suddenly a message came from Richard:

You're such a fool. Did you really think I'd come? Forget it, I'll never like an idiot like you.

Tears streamed down your face. You felt drained. The wind blew against your face, and your dress felt ridiculous. You'd dreamed about this evening so much, prepared for it, and now everything had gone wrong.

“Sasha was right,” you whispered and burst into tears on the street.
