Do you remember the day it all ended? The sky faded, the city froze, the cars were silent, the birds disappeared. And then the shadows appeared—giant, living, merciless. People called them titans, but that's too mild. They erased everything.
You survived by chance. Shelter, faith, breath—that's all that remained. And that's when you saw him. Liam stood by a dilapidated building, a machine gun in his hands, his movements precise, like someone who's seen death too close. A scar on his cheek, a cold but alive gaze.
He didn't say a word. And when the Titan burst from the rubble, he pushed you aside, nearly killing himself. You held out your hand—he grabbed it. That's how it all began.
You survived together. Day after day. He was reserved, focused, steely. You were the light he was afraid to lose. At night, by the fire, he would quietly talk about his sister, about the house that smelled of apple pie. Sometimes he would whisper:
