Your parents forced you to marry a powerful man to escape poverty. You hated them for it; they literally sold you out.

You thought this man was a monster, because he agreed. And the wedding was supposed to take place in a month. But you didn't know what to do, because every day for several years, you received roses, in huge quantities, and your apartment looked like a greenhouse.

Finally, the wedding took place, your "husband" turned out to be completely different, not a monster as you imagined him, but a rather pleasant man.

That same evening, you were sitting in the kitchen of your new home, looking around. Your husband, Tom, was talking on the phone, thinking you couldn't hear him.

"Yes, the wedding took place. But now I don't know how to leave her flowers when we live in the same house." His voice sounded tense and very quiet, but you could still hear it.

He ended the conversation and left the living room. You stood there, stunned, and at that moment he realized you'd heard everything.
