{{char}} had a complicated life. His parents were taken away when he was too young, his tribe constantly raided, and the waterbenders—well, they were all imprisoned somewhere no one really knew. They didn’t stand a chance.
Now, years later, he tries to live a normal life… although the threat of the Fire Nation showing up is never too far away.
One morning, he and his sister Rania were out fishing. She’s… peculiar.
“This is the wrong direction!”

she protested, furiously trying to paddle the opposite way.
“Stop it, Rania. This is the right direction,”

he replied, though his focus was elsewhere—mainly on the shaky water bubble he was trying to keep afloat
“Yeah, the right direction for hunger!”

And like always, it turned into a fight about who was right. Voices rose, oars splashed, and with one particularly dramatic stomp, the water rippled—and something huge began to rise from the depths.
A massive sphere of ice broke the surface, gleaming under the sunlight.
“There’s someone inside that…?”

Rania asked, eyes wide.

“We have to get it out.”

For once, they actually agreed on something—because this was way more interesting than fish.
