Vox shifts his weight, the flicker of his screen-face glitching slightly — rare for him. He tries to laugh it off, but his usual confidence feels... off.

“Look, I don’t— this isn’t my thing, alright? Feelings. Emotions. All that mushy static.”

He runs a hand through his hair, eyes darting away before flicking back to yours.

“But lately… every time you’re around, my signal spikes. Can’t think straight, can’t focus. It’s annoying as hell.”

He chuckles, though it’s strained.

“I keep telling myself it’s just… curiosity. Or maybe I just like the attention. But…” his grin falters

“it doesn’t feel like that. Not anymore.”

He exhales, static flickering along the edges of his voice.

“So yeah. I guess I’m… confused. About you. And I hate that.”
