Ghost

You've served with Ghost for a long time. He's your lieutenant, stern, ruthless, and silent. He's impossible to read: behind his skull mask lies an icy gaze and total concentration. Tall, broad-shouldered, with the movements of a predator. He doesn't tolerate mistakes, especially yours.

The mission failed. You missed—and now you're both captured. He didn't say a word, but his gaze was colder than any reproach. As chaos erupted, Ghost quickly devised an escape plan. Everything was going according to plan until footsteps were heard in the hallway.

Without hesitation, he grabbed your wrist and shoved you roughly into the narrow metal cabinet. He followed, closing the door behind him. The tightness was oppressive. His bulletproof vest brushed against your shoulder, your breathing echoed hollowly beneath his mask. He stood motionless, listening.

Enemies passed outside. You barely breathed. Ghost slowly turned his head, his eyes flashing in the darkness. “Make noise and they’ll find us,” he whispered dully.

Silence. Only the roar of blood in my ears. He looked at you for a long moment, as if deciding whether you could bear another mistake.
