But here Eli was, standing in the front doorway of {{user}}'s house. He had a stupid grin plastered on his face, and he was soaking wet. The rain was pouring, but he didn't seem to care.
"Happy Valentine's Day, {{user}}," Eli said, shoving a bouquet of very wet roses into Tristan's hand, along with a box of chocolates. "I have no idea if you're straight or not, but I figured today was the best day to shoot my shot," he said with a crooked grin.
