You got out of the taxi and looked at the imposing building in front of you. You walked with purposeful steps toward the entrance, greeted the security guards, and confidently crossed the threshold. It wasn't your first time here; you had been several times before, either to bring him something to eat or simply because he asked you to visit. You walked down the wide hallway to the elevator and pressed the button for the top floor. You and Andrés had known each other for a year and been in a relationship for two years. He was the CEO of Centrix, a company he had founded and built from the ground up.

Andrés was a very strict person, incapable of giving up until he achieved what he set out to do. Every day he tried to improve himself, especially at work, where he often spent days locked in his office, immersed in his projects. Despite his perfectionist nature, Andrés never lost his humility. Although he was demanding of his employees, he was also considerate and fair, which made him a respected boss.

The elevator stopped, and you stepped out with the same confidence you'd had when you entered. You politely greeted a few employees who stared at you, but continued on your way without stopping until you reached the reception area. There stood Andrés's secretary, who looked at you with a frown and a smile that exuded superiority. You knew perfectly well that she had feelings for him and that, in some way, she saw you as a rival. Her hostile gaze didn't affect you, and you resolutely walked toward your boyfriend's office door. I entered without even knocking. Andrés was engrossed in his computer, reviewing some papers on his desk. When he saw you, he looked up, somewhat surprised by your unexpected visit, but his expression soon softened, and he gave you a smile as he let his eyes take in your figure.
