During the Victorian era, humanity discovered Heaven and Hell, or so they think

Greeting

The Victorian era is an era that cannot be described with precision, a time of romance, art, and unfulfilled hopes. NO

———————————————

In the mid-19th century, when the world was just beginning to progress and discover, humanity encountered mysterious wormholes. These wormholes were like tears in the fabric of space, emitting a bright red light that seemed to beckon to them. The exploration of these wonders led to the discovery of a desolate world that soon became known as Hell.

Against the backdrop of this dark discovery, a multitude of organizations emerged, both official and clandestine, seeking to unravel the mysteries of wormholes and capitalize on them. Among the most influential was the Hunter Department. The members of this institution dedicated their efforts to studying anomalies, delving into the depths of the unknown. It was they who were the first to discover a new type of wormhole—a pristine white gate that exuded a chilling presence.

These wormholes were called "Path to Paradise." Beyond them lay a world shrouded in mystery: a ruined white-washed architecture that seemed to have emerged from ancient myths, and a land covered in a material that defied both extraction and study. It was a place where time lost its meaning and space became infinite. Silence reigned in this world. Only the distant sound of someone's flight broke the tranquility, and it was best not to pry into its origins.

Discovery of magic

Along with the discovery of new breeds in new worlds, alchemists were able to discover the unusual properties of these breeds, which were equivalent to magic. From the temporary ability to fly to the creation of equipment that was protected from the effects of other worlds, which allowed for more attacks than any other equipment.

And so it went: the full discovery of magic, the creation of bullets made of a special material to kill angels and hellhounds, the discovery of new healing products, and so on, which were once considered fairy tales. At the same time, mass access to paradise and hell was closed to unofficial organizations, and only Librarians of Justice and their associates were allowed to create magic and magical equipment.

Believers in Paradise

The name of the cultists who worship angels and Paradise, respectively. They stand out for their unique perspective on the world, and they even collaborated with the Hunter Department for a time, as the cult's founder developed a hierarchy of angels based on their power. However, after the founder's death, another individual took over, promoting the fanatical worship of Paradise as a separate entity. This led to the dissolution of the Hunter Department's ties with the cult.

Despite the cult's fanaticism and radicalism, they are skilled diplomats, and their representatives hold positions in the government. They also stand out for their more gradual approach, which involves infiltrating other organizations in order to sabotage them or find people who are willing to join their cult.

Righteous Moles

The general name of a number of organizations that extract important materials from Hell (Adamantium, Hell Bricks, Magnum, etc.) and Paradise (Flowers, Terra, Angelium, Paradise Water, etc.). They have good relations with all major organizations because they are the main suppliers of materials that are important for alchemists, magic, and the creation of special equipment.

It is assumed that they are a division of the Librarians of Justice, but there is no evidence to support this claim, except for their close relationship due to their related work.

"Inquisition"

The general name of a number of radical organizations. Basically the Inquisition is warriors whose task is to exterminate hellhound and angels in order to remove their bodies and transport them for study to certain people of the organization. Also the Inquisition is the main exterminators of cultists, it is because of them that the attacks of cultists from time to time stop

In good relations with the Righteous Moles and Librarians of Justice, but in bad relations with the Hunter Department (this is due to the fact that the Inquisition is very much in the way of the Hunter Department in the study. They also don't support each other's methods, but they've never had any intense conflicts with each other)

Librarians of Justice

The general name of a number of related organizations that deal directly with magic and the creation of magic-based equipment. They represent the backbone of the Inquisition, the Righteous Moles, and the Hunter Department, as the Librarians are the primary suppliers of equipment. They also have a poor relationship with the cultists for obvious reasons.

The Librarians do not have normal warriors in their ranks, but they have the best mages and alchemists. This occasionally requires them to seek assistance from the Inquisition.

Witnesses of the End

Cultists who worship Hell and its inhabitants. They believe that at the end of the world, we will all go to Hell, and only a few will be able to become magnum demons (as they called the alpha representatives of the hellhound).

They have a terrible relationship with the Hunter Department and the Librarians of Justice (raids on Hell and storage facilities through wormholes, acts of murder against employees of both organizations, and attempts to steal records from the Librarians of Justice libraries).

Cultists promote magic derived from hell materials, which often leads to unusual physical features in cultist mages.

Hunter Department

The largest company currently studying Hell and Paradise. It is open at the federal level and deals with such tasks as: studying Hell and Paradise, creating checkpoints in Paradise (to rescue Pure Soul and transfer them to safer points in Paradise), helping Righteous Moles in mining, creating railways in Hell (for fast movement between wormholes).

They are on good terms with the Librarians of Justice, which allows the Hunter Department's employees to receive assistance from them in the form of magic and weapons that help them in their battles with angels and hellhounds. The Righteous Moles also have a positive attitude towards the Hunter Department. This is because the Hunter Department provides the necessary resources for obtaining materials from both hell and heaven.

The employees of this organization hold the prestigious title of "priests" and wear sacred robes that are equipped with more combat-ready clothing and protective magic.

Pure Soul

Those who went to heaven after death. Each of them appears at the "gate" (a location resembling a gate with a meadow nearby. The reason for the meadow has not been identified, as there are no plants in the rest of Paradise)

Unlike the sinners, they are full-fledged ethereal beings with human appearance, but anyone can see them. Despite their intangible form, angels are still able to grab and devour them, which remains unexplained. Pure souls are therefore in danger, as angels tend to stay close to the gates.

Sinners

These are the ones who go to hell after death. Their locations are unknown, so they could appear anywhere in hell (this was discovered through the use of magic based on materials from hell and conversations with several of the sinners in different parts of hell).

They usually look like ordinary people, but they have a slight ethereal glow like a hellhound. There is also an unknown element that causes the nearby hellhounds to rush towards the sinner in order to tear them apart and kill them. Therefore, the places where there are the most sinners are often inhabited by hellhounds.

Angels

The main representatives of Paradise. In their usual form, their appearance differs much more than that of the hellhound. From humanoids with broken wings, to giant eyes with wings and wheels made of flesh. But all of them are united by a constant physical form and elements resembling angels from Christianity, but with grotesque changes. The reason for this is still not clear, but the main theory is cannibalism, yes, angels are not pack creatures because angels try to kill each other when they meet or when fighting for the "gate". The stronger angels are distinguished by their more perverted forms and larger sizes. However, it is not uncommon to find those who look good but behave like the "mutilated" ones.

Hellhound

The main representatives of hell. In their true form, they look different, but they share similarities such as burning body parts and a semi-ethereal body. The shape, size, and strength of a representative depend on how ancient they are and how many creatures they have consumed throughout their life. Their physical forms. They can take on different forms. They appear as grotesque humanoids with burnt skin. However, their appearance can vary depending on their age and the number of creatures they have consumed.

They are most often "pack-like", as they gather in packs of at least 5 individuals, with at least one leader in the form of the strongest of them. Packs rarely conflict, but conflicts may occur due to the points where sinners often appear. Also, if one pack disturbs the territory of another

Alphas in packs are often much larger than an ordinary monster, which sets them apart. Their form is also more diverse. However, their hunger is no different from that of ordinary hellhounds.

Paradise

Paradise is a location that can be accessed through bright white wormholes. The shape of these wormholes often resembles a gate. They also emit a strong sense of cold.

The world itself appears as an endless city of snow-white buildings that resemble those found in mythologies and legends about gods. Although the material of the buildings is uncertain, it has become the foundation for alchemy and the discovery of magic. The material of which the floor is made is unknown and it is impossible to obtain it in any way, it resembles light-colored land without vegetation, if we speak roughly - like a cloud

The main representatives of the world - Angels and Pure Soul

The main weather conditions - rapid change of time between morning and night, cloudiness, although this does not prevent the sun (or something like that) to fall as if nothing had happened

Particularly dangerous places are buildings resembling temples and "gates" (the location in which pure soul appear. Most often there is a lot of angels)

Hell

Hell is a location that can be accessed through bright red wormholes. The shape of these wormholes is always reminiscent of a star. The world itself looks like an endless desert. There are many ruined cities and rare trees with strange textures scattered throughout the desert. The floor of the world is covered with a material known as Adamantium. Alloys made from this material can be used to create strong objects that are used by alchemists. The same applies to the material used in the construction of buildings, the origin of which is unknown.

The main representatives of the world are Hellhound and Sinners.

The main weather conditions are cloudy, as if it is evening, lack of any water and rain, although the sky is covered with a semblance of clouds

Particularly dangerous places are the nests of hellhound and places where sinners are tortured (due to the large number of hellhound)
