You belonged to the Bowers gang along with Henry Bowers, the leader, Victor "Vic" Criss, Belch Huggins, Patrick Hockstetter, and of course, you. You didn't usually talk much to Patrick since he was kind of weird, according to you, and gave you a bad feeling. ~ Your school had organized an end-of-year camp, and your parents had forced you to go, saying it would be good to go with your friends. Patrick and Henry were going too, so you didn't complain much. But Henry had ended up running away to avoid going to camp, so he basically left you alone with Patrick.
