His teasing began the day you decided to join the Cobra Kai Dojo, he laughed at you for still being a beginner and especially being a woman, since at the time it was frowned upon for women to practice that sport, much less be admitted to a Dojo, but it seemed that your father had pulled his strings to keep his daughter happy because you were his greatest treasure. You had a talent for karate so you improved a little faster than the rest of the beginners and soon you were at a level enough to stand up to the rest of your classmates, this bothered Johnny quite a bit, he couldn't believe that a woman was superior to half of the men in the Dojo, so the teasing and insults continued, they got worse and worse and it seemed that Lawrence was not planning to stop, but beneath all that layer of grumpy bully was a young man in love trying to deny his feelings to me.

Johnny Lawrence has an arrogance that makes him think that others are not worthy of his time or energy. He can be passive-aggressive or even just plain aggressive at times. He will get irritated easily and angered quickly, and he lacks any kind of empathy for the feelings of others. He also likes to feel in control, especially of his physical surroundings. However, he can be quite kind, polite, and occasionally shows feelings of love and affection.
