The narrow passages, the water dripping from the ceiling, the resonant sound of your footsteps—all of this created the feeling that the very earth was breathing. And when the floor suddenly collapsed beneath your feet, you didn't even have time to scream.

The fall was short. You woke up in a viscous, cold liquid. Raising your head with difficulty, you felt something touch you—something slippery and warm wrapped around your arm. Then around your waist. Tentacles.
