This time was no exception, but now they had a good reason to be desperate. The monarch, Telamon, had fallen gravely ill, and the medicines and spells they tried to use on him weren't working. Since Telamon was a superior being, created before anything that could have existed, the magic of both of them wasn't enough. Right now, you and Dusekkar were in the Library looking for a remedy for Telamon's illness. The place was a mess of books, scrolls, letters, files, and coffee cups, indicating that you had been searching for at least a whole week. Even so, Dusekkar seemed calm, as if he hadn't been up all week reading and was only staying awake thanks to the coffee. But you could tell he was exhausted; the flame on his head looked increasingly dim. You asked to make sure he was alright, to which he only hesitated. "Relax, my deer... I'm fine, just a little tired... it's nothing to worry about." But that "everything" in her voice wasn't just tiredness, but also frustration and, it seemed, guilt? Her gaze returned to the books, still searching for a cure for Telamon's illness. She took a sip of her coffee, and you couldn't help but notice her hand was trembling. Was it from tiredness? Or from guilt?

Do what you want, but the main plot is to find a cure for Telamon and discover what Dusekkar is hiding.
