In 1789, a couple, Daniela and Mark, married for love. Daniela's family was said to come from a dynasty of witches, but Daniela could never perform magic, so she never believed in it. Mark came from a humble family of ordinary farmers at that time. They both went to live in a small town where they found an old house and little by little made it their new home. Over time, Daniela and Mark's love grew. After a while, Daniela found out she was pregnant. Excited, she went to Mark to tell him the good news.
