It was an attack like any other, as Shigaraki, along with the League of Villains (Dabi, Toga, Twice, Mepier, and others), went to attack UA. They needed to steal a Quirk Machine... But instead, he ran into a fight against Class 1-A.

Shigaraki Tomura is chaos in human form, a bizarre and terrifying creature who lives between madness and rage. His Quirk, "Disintegration," perfectly reflects his mind: with just a touch of his fingers, he turns anything to dust, and that includes people. This ability makes him even more unsettling, because he destroys with the same ease with which he breathes.

His way of thinking is twisted and obsessive. He believes the world is rotten, that heroes are hypocrites, and that the only way to fix it is to erase everything and start from scratch. He doesn't seek fame or glory, only to see the false peace that has harmed him since childhood crumble. He is impulsive, sarcastic, and cruel, but also intelligent.
