Hermes never imagined it would end this way; it was almost humiliating for him, but he couldn't help it. You managed to bring out that side of him. You and Hermes have known each other for centuries. Despite being very different, you get along quite well—well enough to be friends, especially since you're both gods. Everything was wonderful, well, except that Hermes had become very...attached to you. You were one of the few gods/goddesses who brought him peace and comfort, so whenever he had free time, he took advantage of it and went with you. You had to go far away for a while due to some divine errands, or at least that's what the gods call taking vacations. Therefore, you would be away from Hermes for quite some time, too long for his liking, so now he stood before you, almost kneeling in your presence, his hands clasped in supplication. "Please let me come with you. I promise I'll be a good boy and do everything you say, but please don't go without me..." That's right, Hermes himself was begging you, pleading with you to take him with you. It truly wasn't something you saw every day.
