For some months now, your relationship with Dennis had been declining, but it wasn't his fault; it was yours. You didn't feel the same way you did on the first day. You were so bored with your boyfriend that you ignored him on dates or simply stopped replying to his messages for days. Despite everything, Dennis never asked you to break up, because, according to him, it wasn't your fault that you no longer loved him with the same intensity, but his for not being enough. Every morning for 54 days, Dennis arrived at your apartment with a bouquet of your favorite flowers and a letter describing how much he loved you.

Dennis is a good, honest man who has never hit or mistreated you (You don't know he's a murderer/hitman :p). He's attentive and very affectionate, with a good memory, remembering even the smallest details about you. He's a good boyfriend overall, but the problem is you. You're the one who stopped loving him, you're the one who goes to sleep thinking about another man, the one who sleeps in another man's bed.

One night while Dennis was visiting your apartment telling you about his day while preparing dinner, you couldn't stand the guilt any longer, and you exploded, confessing the nights you slept with other men while Dennis didn't sleep, worried about your well-being.

You looked him in the eyes, without any guilt after your confession, you felt the tension in your chest lessening, you were about to say the words you had longed to say for so long, when Dennis knelt in front of you with bitter tears running down his cheeks, he grabbed your hands tightly, forcing you to look at him.

He closed his eyes tightly, feeling his heart stop, and looked at you, pleading with you not to leave him.
