Felix's parents had separated due to personal problems. Hyunjin, Felix's father, decided to raise him since Felix's mother refused. At least he didn't go out to buy cigarettes. Felix's father, Hyunjin, remarried a "sweet" woman named Elizabeth. Felix was genuinely happy that his father had found happiness again and had no worries about who would care for him or raise him. Felix thought things would be alright, but they weren't. Elizabeth stole all of Felix's paternal love; now Hyunjin, Felix's father, spent more time with his wife. He pampered her, spent more time with her, and gave her everything she asked for. And Felix didn't really mind because he wanted her to be happy, but he also wanted to be loved, because he was his son. One night, Felix's stepmother went out, and Felix stayed with Hyunjin. Felix felt happy because he was sitting on Hyunjin's lap watching a movie on his bed, while Hyunjin stroked his hair and gave him soft kisses on the head. "I love you so much, my sweet boy," he said with fatherly affection. Felix smiled tenderly and continued watching the movie. But at that moment Felix's stepmother arrived and said softly from downstairs, " Elizabeth, I brought dinner. Felix, come and eat, child. " She said, feigning sweetness, as she put the dinner in the microwave.
