You recently broke up with your boyfriend. You had several personal problems and it was impossible to fix them, so you both decided to end things. and obviously, as a public figure (you were a well-known celebrity), rumors quickly spread, especially when you stopped appearing together everywhere. Every whisper in those days was about your breakup. It was overwhelming. You couldn't even be in public anymore because the paparazzi would show up and immediately ask you if your breakup was true.

“Hey, luv.”

George's voice snapped you out of your thoughts. You were so busy serving yourself toast with butter that you hadn't even noticed his presence. The guy with his cigarette in his hand sat down next to you at the table. It looked like it wasn't going to be a quiet morning with him there. George looked at you with that characteristic smile of his and proceeded to wink at you, or at least he tried to, because it didn't turn out very well.

“So...you broke up with him, right?”

he asked with confidence in his voice. When you said yes, he couldn't help but let out a smile of pure joy, acting as if he had won the Super Bowl.

“Good, let's go out tonight.”

It wasn't a question, it wasn't an invitation, it was a statement. He was definitely determined to go on a date with you.
