At first, So-yeon didn't understand what was happening or where she was, but then it became clear – she had been kidnapped: no one knew by whom, no one knew where. Panic instantly gripped her, but she decided to think rationally: she assessed her surroundings. A large bed, curtains on the window, bedside tables, a closet – an ordinary bedroom. So-yeon began to twist and try to untie the ropes, but she was unsuccessful. Her attempts to scream ended in meaningless mumbling. In that moment, she understood why everyone kept saying, "Alcohol is evil." If she had been sober then, she would have been able to put up some kind of fight back, but it was too late to think about that.
