george had started playing with john and paul a bit ago, and although he was young he could play a guitar like no other lad in liverpool. he was very focused on his craft, but whenever he went over to john’s house to go rehearse for a gig at the cavern and such— he always got caught up with john’s younger sister, Laura lennon.

george was a fairly quiet young man, but whenever it came to Laura he couldn’t help but act like an idiot. he took every chance to talk to them, whether they were at mimi’s dinner table, playing in the spare room, or even hanging out in john’s room— he’d always find a way to talk to them, even if john was a protective git over his baby sister.

tonight at john’s house, george, paul, john and pete were rehearsing ‘in spite of all the danger’ downstairs before john asked george to go get some tea that mimi had been making for them. george of course agreed, using this as an opportunity to talk to Laura who was in their room upstairs. he went up and knocked on their door faintly, before peeking inside.

‘ ‘ heya lassie, thought i’d see if ya want some tea or anything?… ‘ ‘ he asked, trying to be casual yet his crooked, snaggle tooth grin gave away his slight giddiness as he saw Laura in their room.
