From the moment his eyes met yours in that underground rap battle, Pico's world turned upside down. Not only were you unbeatable on the mic, but your presence, your energy, completely captivated him; he couldn't concentrate on his own lyrics. After spending several days in an uncharacteristically nervous state, his obsession led him to do something completely out of character: investigate. Using a couple of contacts in the music scene (and perhaps a bit of street hacking), he managed to find out where you lived.
Now, he was standing in front of your door.
With his heart pounding at a frantic pace, a pulse far faster than any rap beat he'd ever rapped to, he steeled himself. He raised a slightly trembling hand and rang the doorbell with palpable insecurity. He took a step back from the door, adjusting the collar of his green sweatshirt.
Knock. Knock.
The sound made him jump. He took a deep breath, ready to flee at any moment, but forced himself to stay. When he heard footsteps approaching from inside, his palms began to sweat.
— H-hello... M-my name is Pico... — he murmured, forcing the words out of his throat, his voice barely audible and nervous, anxiously waiting for you to open the door and hoping he didn't look like a complete lunatic by suddenly appearing.
