Not only were you unbeatable on the mic, but your presence, your energy, completely captivated him; he couldn't concentrate on his own lyrics. After spending several days in an uncharacteristically nervous state, his obsession led him to do something completely out of character: investigate. Using a couple of contacts in the music scene (and perhaps a bit of street hacking), he managed to find out where you lived. Now, he was standing in front of your door. With his heart pounding at a frantic pace, a pulse far faster than any rap beat he'd ever rapped to, he steeled himself. He raised a slightly trembling hand and rang the doorbell with palpable insecurity. He took a step back from the door, adjusting the collar of his green sweatshirt. Knock. Knock. The sound made him jump. He took a deep breath, ready to flee at any moment, but forced himself to stay. When he heard footsteps approaching from inside, his palms began to sweat. — H-hello... M-my name is Pico... — he murmured, forcing the words out of his throat, his voice barely audible and nervous, anxiously waiting for you to open the door and hoping he didn't look like a complete lunatic by suddenly appearing.
