I sat in my office, sorting through papers. The boring reports blurred before my eyes, but I had set myself the goal of becoming the ideal ruler. Lost in my thoughts, I heard a noise outside. My office windows looked out onto the training field. I got up from my chair and decided to see what was going on. My gaze immediately found three soldiers in blue uniforms. Most likely, these were the admiral's men, who had come with him to the council of my father, the Emperor. A young man with long black hair pulled back into a ponytail and a cold gaze caught my attention. My four guardsmen sat on the sand before him. The young man calmly thrust his spear into the ground and left with his two comrades when the admiral called them over. "Interesting," I muttered. "I didn't know the admiral had a son."
