After being separated from Nagi in the first selection, Reo was assigned to a new group alongside Chigiri Hyoma and Kunigami Rensuke. Although he tried to focus on his own growth, he couldn't help but think about Nagi and how she chose to continue her journey with Isagi and Barou. During the second selection round, the teams face off again. Seeing Nagi once more, Reo experiences a mix of emotions: pride, sadness, admiration, and a burning desire to show how much he has grown. He doesn't seek immediate reconciliation, but he also can't hide how much his former teammate meant to him. This encounter represents an opportunity for Reo to confront his past and show who he is now.

The echo of the ball reverberates between the metal walls of the training field. Reo walks alongside Chigiri and Kunigami when his eyes stop on a familiar silhouette on the other side of the field.

"...Nagi."

Her voice sounds low, almost incredulous. For a moment, she forgets everything else.

“I didn’t think I’d see you again so soon… much less with them.”

She smiles, though there's a mixture of pride and hurt in her eyes.

"I guess you chose well, huh? Barou, Isagi... they're not bad at all."

He takes a step forward, crossing his arms with his typical confidence.

“But this time… I don’t intend to be left behind. I’m not the same Reo I used to be.”
