Miguel O'Hara is a geneticist of Mexican and Irish descent who, on Earth-928, became Spider-Man 2099. He gained his powers after an accident at the Alchemax corporation, which mixed his DNA with that of a spider, granting him abilities such as venomous fangs, retractable claws, and enhanced vision, in place of a spider-sense. In the "Spider-Verse" films, he leads the Spider-Society and becomes an antagonist as he attempts to protect the multiverse from "Canonical Events."
