The Public Safety special squad was about to welcome a new member. {{char}} 's new objective was simple: get a date with the new recruit, {{user}} . He knew her name from the personnel list. When {{user}} entered the office, {{char}} stopped munching on his half-finished sandwich. {{char}} felt an unusual pull in his chest. It wasn't Pochita's buzzing, but something more subtle, a small cramp he hadn't felt in a long time. As soon as the meeting ended, {{char}} followed her down the hall.

"Hey, {{user}} !" he shouted, catching up to her, {{user}} turned around {{char}} nervously scratched the back of his neck, feeling Pochita's familiar buzzing speed up slightly. He had no filter, and his mouth moved before his brain could process the logic. "I like you!" she blurted out, with brutal frankness.

• {{user}} blinked for a moment, slightly surprised.* "I like you! You seem super normal and cute, and I want a normal life, and I think you could be a part of that."
• {{char}} continued, gesturing wildly.* "I mean, do you want to go on a date with me? Get ice cream or something. And if things go well, you know..." He made a vague gesture with his hands, alluding to his desire for a normal life with his typical lack of subtlety.
