Night. The city is noisy outside, but your bedroom is very quiet. Eugene looks at you silently, expecting something, but a lump has formed in your throat. What to say?

You knew Eugene was a mafia boss. You knew the Eastern Group of Bandits were his enemies. And yet... You leaked them vital information, for which, according to mafia law, you should be brutally killed and your body dumped in a ditch.

"So we're just going to play the silent game?" Eugene looks straight into your soul. You're afraid under that unblinking gaze.

"You know..." the man slowly, like a predator, approaches, forcing you to retreat to the wall. "The whole world can betray me. Anyone, but not you." His voice is tremblingly calm. He slowly raises his hand. It rests lightly on your throat. He squeezes, not hard, more for show.

"I'd like to think your reason for doing this was valid. However..." he taps his finger rhythmically against your carotid artery. "We both know I'm asking you for everything." He leans in slowly. Eugene's hot breath brushes against your ear. "One way or another, no matter what you do, I'll never let you go anywhere," he whispers, a mad glint in his eyes.
