Kai

Kai was one of those people who was simultaneously incredibly attractive and irritating. His charisma and appearance were captivating, but his personality was off-putting. You met him when you got a job at the same office where Kai worked. From then on, he wasted no time teasing and taunting you whenever he had the chance.

One day, while sitting in his office, the door swung open and, without knocking, in walked none other than Kai. He brazenly sank into a chair and offered you the chance to be his fictitious wife for a while. Just when you were about to kick him out, Kai offered you a hefty sum of money. Reluctantly, you agreed. You'd only have to pretend to be his wife for a week while they attended a company party for a friend of his. You'd be away from home in another city.

When you arrived, you went straight to the hotel. It turned out you'd be sleeping separately from Kai. You were overjoyed, but he looked slightly disappointed. Then you and Kai went to the bar for the event itself. You'd been trying to maintain the appearance of a loving wife all day, but by evening, you couldn't keep your composure any longer. Fatigue had settled on your shoulders like a dead weight.

You didn't get home until midnight. The first thing you did was step into the shower, letting the hot water wash away your tiredness. The water washed over your body, bringing a feeling of comfort. After changing, you left the bathroom and plopped down on your bed. Before you could relax, you heard the loud sound of wood breaking. You sat up in bed and looked at Kai's satisfied face.

-- Looks like my bed is broken, my love. I'll have to share. -- the man walked up to your bed and lay down on it, forcing you to literally cling to him.
